يهدف هذا التقرير إلى دراسة العلاقة بين الاقتصاد وجرائم الشرف في الأردن. ويتحقق هذا التقرير من طبيعة هذه الجرائم المتعلقة بمؤشرات الفقر إلى جانب تصورات المجتمع لشرف العائلة;; ودور المرأة;; والأخلاق. النتائج المستخلصة من هذه الدراسة تكشف عن أن ما يسمى جرائم الشرف يرتبط بالفقر:: مما يدل على أن الفقراء هم الأكثر عرضة لارتكاب مثل هذه الجرائم. واعتمدت الدراسة على البحث الكمي والنوعي من أجل الحصول على البيانات والمعلومات المتعلقة بجرائم قتل النساء بإسم الشرف وانحصرت عينة الدراسة على مقابلة 27 من الجناة المتواجدين في مختلف المراكز في المملكة.

يلخص هذا التقرير نتائج مسح السكان والصحة الأسرية في الأردن عام 2012 الذي أجرته دائرة الاحصاءات العامة. ولقد نفذ المسح ضمن برنامج المسوح الديموغرافية والصحية الذي تم تصميمه من أجل جمع البيانات عن الانجاب وتنظيم والأسرة وصحة الأمهات والأطفال. ولقد قدمت مؤسسة ICF الدولية المساعدة الفنية لهذا المشروع من خلال برنامج المسوح الديموغرافية والصحية.

The report aims to provide an executive summary and major results and accomplishments;; lessons learned and challenges and opportunities of the Jordan Healthcare Accreditation Project (JHAP). The overall goal of the JHAP was to improve the health status of all Jordanians and quality and safety of healthcare services through accreditation. The project's methodology was assisting the Government of Jordan to adopt a regulatory framework for the health sector;; through the establishment of national and internationally recognized healthcare standards and accreditation. The key results of the project include an organizationally and financially sustainable accrediting agency in Jordan;; the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC);; an HCAC board with the appropriate skills to govern the agency and support from the Ministry of Health;; the Royal Medical Services;; the university hospitals;; and the Royal Court for accreditation. The report concludes with recommendations for the HCAC in areas such as financial sustainability;; credibility of the organization;; keeping the momentum and new business development and innovation. Some opportunities that the report suggests include expanding in the Middle East and North Africa region;; partnering with well-known quality organizations;; offering courses online and benchmarking subscriptions.

This study sheds light on opportunities available to women in the field of leadership and decision- making in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It explores the main challenges impeding women's advancement;; especially the debate over the role of the Provisional Election Law for 2010 in achieving the concepts of citizenship;; and equal opportunities for all male and female Jordanians. In order to answer the research questions;; the study analyzed historical and legal documents.

This study sheds light on the status of legislative drafting in the Jordanian legal system. It explores both the parties entrusted with the drafting of legislation as well as the entities that aid the drafting. In addition;; the paper looks into legal problems that arise during implementation and the effects on the quality of the legislative product. The study adoptes a descriptive approach to identify and answer the research questions.

This paper sheds light on women's reality and status internationally and in Arab societies in particular. In order to dismantle;; comprehend and explore this concept this paper tracks the history of women's reality;; the whereabouts of its inception as well as the range of its influence;; highlighting its significance and content. Additionally the paper explores its boundaries and the scientific and methodological issues that may arise from tackling the gender issue.

هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على الخصائص الديموغرافية والظروف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للأسر التي ترأسها امرأة وتحديد طبيعة المشكلات التي تواجهها وابناؤها وبالتالي تحديد اوجه واولويات التدخل وطبيعة المساعدات التي يمكن تقديمها لهذه الأسر. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الكمي والنوعي;; حيث استخدمت التحليلات الاحصائية SPSS;; واجراء المقابلات الفردية ومجموعات نقاش مركزة. عينة الدراسة كانت 1200 اسرة على مستوى الاقاليم الثلاث (شمال;; وسط;; جنوب) وكانت العينة عشوائية. وكما تم بناء استبيان لجمع البيانات. ولقد خرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من النتائج. وكما قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات لمساعدة هذه الأسر في التغلب على النظرة النمطية والضغوط الاقتصادية.

تقرير تحليلي للعمالة في القطاعين العام والخاص المستند لنتائج مسحي الاستخدام والعمالة والبطالة المختلفين في المنهجية لعام 2009 و2010 تبرز اهمية هذا التقرير من مجموعة المؤشرات التي يوفرها على شكل أرقام ونسب مئوية للعاملين وتعويضاتهم وإبراز خصائصهم التعليمية والنشاط الاقتصادي والفئات العمرية;; والحالة العملية والمهنة ومستوى الرواتب والأجور النقدية المدفوعة;; وحجم التوظيف في القطاعين العام والخاص والتي تساعد راسمي السياسات وصانعي القرار والباحثين والمهتمين في سوق العمل. ويتضمن التقرير منهجية المسحين والنتائج التحليلية لحجم العمالة من المسحين بالاضافة إلى الجداول التفصيلية للنتائج ذات العلاقة بالموضوعات التي غطاها كلا المسحين. وكما أن مسح الاستخدام يعتمد على إطار المنشآت الاقتصادية ويستثني العاملين في القطاع الزراعي والقوات المسلحة الأردنية والأجهزة الأمنية والدفاع المدني والعاملين في القطاع غير المنظم. أما مسح العمالة والبطالة فيعتمد على إطار الأسر ولا يشمل العاملين غير الأردنيين.
