Correcting the Common Misconceptions on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Jordan Report
This research focuses on the outcomes of youth refugees and PWDs in the country, whose SRH insecurity is compounded by their inherent political, economic, and social marginalization. In other words, the fact that refugees tend to experience higher levels of poverty, less access to educational opportunities, and secondary political attention inevitably lead to their being disadvantaged in learning more about their SRH rights as well as the variety of services they have access to. The same applies to PWDs who are confronted with fewer socioeconomic opportunities and confront various forms of discrimination on a daily basis By assessing the experiences of these at-risk demographics within Jordan,it will become evident how SRHR outcomes for youth are inextricably linked to broader power structures and social hierarchies.
