This report addresses the challenges that Syrian refugee women continue to face in Middle Eastern host countries as well as in camps in southern Europe. It particularly examines the needs and challenges of women who have become heads of household. It seeks to analyze the effects of women simultaneously gaining power as heads of household while also increasing in vulnerability as refugees.
