Women Business Owners in Jordan: Characteristics,Contributions,and Challenges
This report focuses on the increase of women entrepreneurs in Jordan and the difficulties women have faced in receiving financial or administrative support or appropriate financing. The scope of this study attempts to discuss the experiences of women in business in Jordan to assist lawmakers in establishing laws and policies which support female entrepreneurs and small businesses. A large aspect of this report considers the work-life balance of female business owners and the struggle they face having to balance both a family and a job in Jordan.
