Summary
This policy brief,published bythe Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia,addresses emerging channels for participation in public policy processes,as brought about by the Arab uprisings and their aftermath. Following an assessment of the transformation of civic engagment and participation leading up to and following the Arab uprisings,the report addresses the challenges and potential for new channels of engagement that have developed in the wake of the Arab uprisings.
