This training manual was prepared by Dr. Marta Hawkins,Dr. Diana Abu Ali and Dr. Haya Al-Dajani,the director of the &quot;<a href="http://haqqi.info/en/haqqi/research/jordanian-and-syrian-refugee-artisa… and Syrian Refugee Artisans and Cultural Heritage Entrepreneurship in Jordan</a>&quot; project. The training manual aims to:&nbsp;
1. Provide the craftsmen with the necessary space to focus and work on the plans of the training projects by providing an alternative business model that can enhance their contribution to the Jordanian economy while preserving the cultural heritage.
2. Adopting the personal and professional support model on a parity basis.
3. Enhance cooperation between Jordanian and Syrian artisans residing in Jordan.
4. To enhance the trainees&#39; knowledge and appreciation of the importance of their cultural heritage,and how best to preserve it.
5. Enhancing the knowledge of the trainees and their appreciation of the importance of the Syrian artisan production since the Ottoman period and up to now,and enhancing their appreciation of themselves as part of the historical extension of the letter.
