اعد هذا التقرير ضمن اطار برنامج كرامة الذي يعمل تحت مظلة المركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان ويهدف الى منع التعذيب ورصد الانتهاكات في السجون الاردنية ، بالاضافة الى تحسين اوضاع المحرومين من حريتهم في الاردن ،

دراسة بحثية وطنية تهدف غلى المستهمة في جمع بيانات دقيقة عن وضع الفتاة الطفلة وتهدف إلى تحليل الطريقة التي تؤثر فيها الثقافة المجتمعية التي يمارسها المجتمع على صياغة القانون. واستناداً إلى المواضيع التيي والثغرات التي أبرزها أصحاب العلاقة بناءاً على تحليل النتائج ومن خلال إتباع نهج يستند على حقوق الإنسان;; فقد تم تصنيف الدراسة إلى الموضوعات التالية: حقوق المساواة وعدم التمييز;; حقوق الأسرة;; وتعليم الفتاة والطفلة;; والعنف القائم على الجنس ضد الفتاة الطفلة;; وعمالة الفتاة الطفلة;; والصحة والزواج المبكر;; والعادات والتقاليد. والغرض من تحليل النتائج والتوصيات هو في انها ستسهم بفعالية في جهود كسب الدعم باسم الفتاة الطفلة في الأردن. واعتمد البحث على كل من منجية البحث النوعي والكمي;; حيث تم العمل على مراجعة التشريعات الأردنية والأطر الدولية ذات الصلة بحقوق الفتيات والأطفال;; إضافة إلى اجراء مقابلات مع خبراء قانونيين واجتماعيين وشخصيات عامة والمجتمع المحلي في الأردن حول القضايا ذا تالصلة بحقوق الفتيات والأطفال. وقد تم اعداد استبيان من اجل جمع المعلومات المطلوبة وتم تعبئته في كل من عمان والزرقاء وإربد والمفرق والعقبة والكرك. وكما قام فريق البحث بعقد سبع ورشات عمل للفنون على مستوى المملكة في 7 محافظات;; وعقد 4 جلسات مائدة مستديرة في 3 محافظات.

The report is based on the study designed to conduct a communications assessment of Aqaba Water Company;; one of the key water utilities in Jordan and to examine how its communications department collaborates with other areas of the organization. As part of the Public Action for Water;; Energy and Environment Project (PAP);; a public education and behavior change communication program developed to support USAID’s technical and policy investments in the Jordanian water and energy sectors;; the report finds that the effective communications can save the utility money by improving operations;; increasing efficiencies and reducing customer complaints. The report suggests that the strategic communications can be the key to a sustainable future for the kingdom during the times of critical resource constraints and presents some guiding principles and recommendations for the Aqaba Water Company’s communication efforts.

The report presents the findings of the government institutions efforts survey;; which is designed for the purpose of reviewing the government agencies’ current and past communication activities in water;; energy and environment. The specific objective of this survey is to review the Donor Position Paper on Outreach targeted sample of 36 staff from 22 government institutions from Aqaba and Karak. As part of the Public Action for Water;; Energy and Environment Project (PAP);; a public education and behavior change communication program developed to support USAID’s technical and policy investments in the Jordanian water and energy sectors;; this report finds that many government institutions have more than one role;; overseeing solid waste management;; industrial water and reuse and environmental laws. The report also finds that the communications programs are scattered and credibility and trust between service agencies and their clients is a concern. The interview analysis suggests that the Public Action Project needs to focus on two or three specific areas;; and the report recommends all capacity building activities to be focused on one goal of developing;; implementing and measuring national communication strategies and action plans.

The tourism sector assessment report examines critical questions related to Jordan's best opportunity areas for tourism development growth that will result in increasing tourism receipts;; private-sector investment in tourism;; and tourism-related employment. The report identifies global trends;; best practices;; and benchmarks shaping tourism demand and competitiveness. It also suggests approaches for expanding tourism in key Jordan governorates and secondary destination in ways that benefit local communities. According to the assessment;; Jordan is well-positioned to move from a regional;; multi-country tourist destination to a stand-alone destination with a portfolio of tourism products with year-round appeal for foreign and domestic visitors;; and this will require a long-term commitment from both public and private stakeholders. It suggests collaboration between Jordan's government and private sector;; localized and inclusive economic development implementation strategies and increase in the supply of skilled tourism workforce professionals.
