Civil Society Index – Analytical Country Report: Jordan 2010
The Civil Society Index (CSI) is a participatory research project that seeks to assess the status of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). It is applied by practitioners woring in civil society and dedicated to serving their interests globally. The CSI is based on a comprehensive methodology which was developed by CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation and aims at assessing the status of CSO,as well as creating a database of knowledge that strengthens civil society and bolsters its role. It is one of several international indexes aiming to asses CSOs,while also guiding and encouraging each Civil Society Organisation (CSO)'s growth and expansion in the right direction.
