The Jordanian Task Force on GBV IMS: 2019 Annual Report
This report provides information on the cases of sexual and gender-based violence reported by survivors and survivors in Jordan during the year 219. The information was collected with the consent of survivors who received psychosocial support across six member organizations of the Task Force on the Gender-Based Violence Information Management System . The task force is the body responsible for providing security and protection for sensitive data on sexual and gender-based violence.
The data and trends in this report are not representative of the extent of sexual and gender-based violence in Jordan; Given that these trends are based only on cases of violence reported by survivors and survivors,data collection organizations involved in the response to sexual and gender-based violence,which use the GBV Information Management System,in 219.
Here it is worth noting that the number of survivors and survivors who received assistance from the staff members increased by 12% compared to the data for 218. The majority of survivors and survivors obtained services more than a month after the occurrence of the violence (69% in 219,compared to 71.5% in 218).
