Overweight and obesity among Jordanian women and their social determinants
This study focuses on the societal determinants which increase Jordanian women's risk of becoming obese. Predominant factors include marriage at an early age,wealth status,and smoking. In observing these factors,the study explores existing health programs and makes recommendations as to how Jordanian women can be more effectively helped medically and what services should be more readily provided.
