This article discusses the recommendations and results of the periodic report issued by the Information and Research Center - King Hussein Foundation (IRCKHF), which focuses on monitoring 7 written and audio media, and how they address gender and women issues. One of the recommendations of the study is to establish an effective website that includes all female experts to make it easier for the journalist to find female experts in different fields in order to support their presence in the media.
In the first quarter of 2019, the percentage of women in the media was 14% compared with 86% men. Only 5% of the news was on gender and women compared with other masculine or gender-neutral news.
