This album is the product of (8) workshops carried out by the Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation with a group of children in several different governorates to promote the voices of children and their right to express their opinions freely and safely. These workshops were based on interactive research tools tailored to their (1-13) age group. During the workshops,children were encouraged to participate comfortably; as they drew hypothetical characters and shared their opinions on a range of issues that concern them,and the most important problems and fears they face. The album has also been designed on behalf of children to be child-friendly and easy-to-read.
This album will be presented to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child as one of the outputs of the coalition,led by the Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation,to submit the periodic report on the status of children's rights and Jordan's commitment to the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
