The report presents the findings of the government institutions efforts survey;; which is designed for the purpose of reviewing the government agencies’ current and past communication activities in water;; energy and environment. The specific objective of this survey is to review the Donor Position Paper on Outreach targeted sample of 36 staff from 22 government institutions from Aqaba and Karak. As part of the Public Action for Water;; Energy and Environment Project (PAP);; a public education and behavior change communication program developed to support USAID’s technical and policy investments in the Jordanian water and energy sectors;; this report finds that many government institutions have more than one role;; overseeing solid waste management;; industrial water and reuse and environmental laws. The report also finds that the communications programs are scattered and credibility and trust between service agencies and their clients is a concern. The interview analysis suggests that the Public Action Project needs to focus on two or three specific areas;; and the report recommends all capacity building activities to be focused on one goal of developing;; implementing and measuring national communication strategies and action plans.

أُجري هذا التقرير على مدار أربعة أشهر في لبنان والأردن;; ويركز على التحديات المؤلمة التي تواجه أطفال اللاجئين السوريين كل يوم. والهدف من هذا التقرير هو إعداد تقرير قائم على الأدلة من زاوية إنسانية;; تستهدف قاعدة عريضة من الجماهير لرفع الوعي بشأن التحديات التي تواجه حماية الأطفال;; وإعطاء فكرة عن كيفية استجابة وكالة الأمم المتحدة وشركائها;; وتسليط الضوء على بعض الفجوات التي تتطلب اهتماماً عاجلاً من جانب المجتمع الدولي. وتم اعتماد منهجية تتألف من مراجعة مكتبية للتقارير والتقييمات القائمة;; إلى جانب جمع البيانات وإجراء بحث ميداني في كل من المواقع الحضرية والريفية وفي المخيمات. وقد تم جمع المعلومات من خلال مناقشات مجموعة التركيز والمقابلات التي أجريت مع الأطفال اللاجئين وعائلاتهم;; إلى جانب اللاجئين العاملين مع الأطفال داخل مجتمعاتهم وموظفي المفوضية وغيرها من المنظمات العاملة مع الأطفال اللاجئين.

The migrant worker in Jordan situation report was issued in 2009. It presents an overview of the situation of migrant workers in Jordan and the main violations they are subject to. Additionally;; the report offers recommendations to national and international parties concerned with the migrant workers' rights.

This report is the second annual report of Tamkeen Center for Legal Aid and Human Rights. It addresses the status of both migrant domestic workers and migrant workers in Qualified Industrial Zones because these two categories are subject to recurrent abuses and are the most vulnerable group due to legislative reasons;; administrative practices and the actions of their employers.

تهدف الدراسة إلى البحث في مدى انتشار العنف;; والاتجاهات والمفاهيم حول العنف في المحافظتين الأردنيتين الأكبر من حيث الكثافة السكانية: العاصمة (عمّان) والزرقاء. ولا يقتصر هذا التقرير على البحث في درجة انتشار العنف في هاتين المحافظتين وفي طبيعة العنف (بما يشمل العموامل الجسدية والنفسية والاقتصادية);; وإنما يحاول أيضاً تكوين فهم لأسباب هذا العنف من خلال تحديد القضايا المتشابكة التي تؤدي إليه وكيفية ارتباط هذه القضايا مع بعضها البعض.
