The report aims to provide an executive summary and major results and accomplishments;; lessons learned and challenges and opportunities of the Jordan Healthcare Accreditation Project (JHAP). The overall goal of the JHAP was to improve the health status of all Jordanians and quality and safety of healthcare services through accreditation. The project's methodology was assisting the Government of Jordan to adopt a regulatory framework for the health sector;; through the establishment of national and internationally recognized healthcare standards and accreditation. The key results of the project include an organizationally and financially sustainable accrediting agency in Jordan;; the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC);; an HCAC board with the appropriate skills to govern the agency and support from the Ministry of Health;; the Royal Medical Services;; the university hospitals;; and the Royal Court for accreditation. The report concludes with recommendations for the HCAC in areas such as financial sustainability;; credibility of the organization;; keeping the momentum and new business development and innovation. Some opportunities that the report suggests include expanding in the Middle East and North Africa region;; partnering with well-known quality organizations;; offering courses online and benchmarking subscriptions.

بعد الفرار من العنف والاضطهاد في العراق;; فإن مئات الآلاف من العراقيين الذين يعيشون في الأردن يواجهون تهديداً يومياً للإعتقال والغرامات والترحيل وذلك لأن الحكومة الأردنية تعاملهم معاملة المهاجرين غير الشرعيين بدلاً من معاملتهم كلاجئين. منذ بدء الحرب في العراق في عام 2003;; نزح أكثر من مليون عراقي من بلدهم طلباً للجوء من البلدان المجاورة;; إلا أنه لا يوجد أي من الدول المجاورة للعراق;; ولا الولايات المتحدة;; يعاملونهم كلاجئين. وهذا التقرير يلقي الضوء على محنة اللاجئين العراقيين (والتماس الحلول له) وهي مسؤوليةً مشتركة بين الأردن والدول المجاورة والمجتمع الدولي.

Jordan is one of the 88+ countries which carried out national consultations worldwide. 10 countries from the Arab region were selected to run the post-2015 national consultations: Jordan;; Djibouti;; Egypt;; Morocco;; Sudan;; Algeria;; Yemen;; Iraq;; Saudi Arabia;; and Lebanon. The Jordanian national consultations have been a lead contributor to the first preliminary report of the UN Development Group (UNDG) issued in March 2013 and entitled “The Global Conversation Begins – Emerging Views For a New Development Agenda”;; and also to the UNDG Global report “A million voices: The World We Want”;; launched by the UN Secretary-General and UNDG Chair on 9 September 2013. The Global Report constitutes a milestone in the dialogues to shape the post-2015 development agenda. Its findings have contributed to the UN Secretary-General’s report to the 68th session of the General Assembly in September 2013.

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن التحديات التي تواجه النساء الأردنيات المتزوجات من رجال غير أردنيين وأبناءهن أيضاً. وتشمل الدراسة على تحلييل التكاليف والمنافع المترتبة على منح الإقامة والحقوق المدنية لهذه الفئة;; وذلك بهدف توفير صورة دقيقة لصانعي القرار لمعالجة غياب المساواة من وجهة نظر اقتصادية. وبشكل منفصل تسلط الدراسة الضوء على أثر حرمان أبناء تلك الأسر من هذه الحقوق;; وتحديداً ما يتعلق في شعورهم بالإنتماء. وكانت منهجية الدراسة مزيجاً من البحثين النوعي والكمي. وبلغ حجم العينة في المسح الكمي 230 رجل أردني متزوج من امرأة غير أردنية;; و210 امرأة أردنية متزوجة من رجل غير أردني في كل من: الزرقاء;; العقبة;; سحاب;; مادبا البلقاء.

هذا التقرير يستعرض جميع السياسات والتشريعات والممارسات والاجراءات الوطنية لبيان مدى اتفاقها مع الالتزامات المبنية في اتفاقية القضاء على جميع اشكال التمييز ضد المرأة;; بالاضافة إلى القاء الضوء على مساهمة المرأة في التنمية السياسية والاقتصادية والاجماعية. اضافة إلى ذلك;; فإن هذا الملخص يعرض الانجازات والتحديات ذات الصلة بحقوق المراة في مجال المساواة وعدم التمييز التي وردت في التقرير على صعيد: المشاركة في الحياة العامة;; محور التشريعات ;; محور الأمن البشري والحماية الاجتماعية;; ومحور التمكين الاقتصادي;; ومحور الاعلام.
