Sexual Harassment in Greater Cairo: The Effectiveness of Crowdsourced Data
In order to create this report,HarassMap and the International Development Research Center administered questionnaires and conducted in-depth interviews across six administrative units of Greater Cairo. After administering 45 questionnaires and hosting 48 focus group,researchers compared the data collected through these traditional methods to the crowdsourced data collected through the online HarassMap platform. They determined that the type of incident reported,clarity of language,and fullness of report differed based on the data collection method used.
