Why Mathlouma- Statistics
Economist Dr. Yousef Mansour highlights the statistics of the phenomena known as honor crimes or honour crimes. Honor Crimes are a type of Gender-based Violence (GBV) and are widespread in Jordan. Dr. Mansour explains the relationship between crime, poverty, low educational level, unemployment, and persecution as the conditions and suitable social environment to foster such crimes.
