Action Plan for Monitoring and Implementing UPR Recommendations on the Protection and Promotion of Rights for Non-Jordanian Workers
As part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's commitment to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) mechanism on human rights, the Jordanian government has agreed to a series of recommendations aimed at protecting and promoting the rights of non-Jordanian workers. These recommendations include measures to improve access to justice, inspect working environments, enhance social protections, and eliminate discrimination and violence against migrant workers. This plan focuses on identifying the key actions necessary for implementing these recommendations from the coalition's perspective, as well as establishing monitoring and follow-up mechanisms by civil society organizations.
