The Parliamentary Committee amends two 'controversial' articles in the Labor Law
Summary
This article focuses on the amendments of the Parliamentary Labor Committee on the Labor Law, and its approval of most of the amendments that came from the government, with an amendment to Article 29 that allows a worker to leave the workplace while preserving his/her rights in cases including being subjected to any forms of violence, an amendment has also been made to Article 69 that prohibits women from working at night unless they accept to.
On the other hand, the article addresses the recommendations of the civil society organizations to amend Article 29, and the need to formulate the term sexual harassment in a more accurate legal way.
