"Towards Effective Inclusion of Agricultural Workers in Social Protection in Jordan: Policy Reforms Considering the Seasonal Nature of Work and Balancing Protection with Sustainability"
Social protection is a fundamental pillar for achieving social justice and sustainable development, and a human right guaranteed by the Jordanian Constitution and international conventions. In the context of efforts to strengthen the social protection system in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the agricultural sector stands out as one of the most important labor-intensive sectors, particularly for vulnerable groups, including local and migrant workers and rural women.
