This training manual is part of the project "Empowering Civil Society Organizations in Jordan through Strengthening Institutional and Technical Capacities and Advocacy to Enhance Coordination for Sustainable Development" (EMPOWER Jordan). The project, implemented in partnership with ACTED and funded by the European Union, seeks to empower 21 civil society organizations and 42 additional entities across Jordan to become active institutions dedicated to human rights and sustainable development. Civil society plays a pivotal role as an effective agent of positive change amid ongoing political, social, and economic challenges. To succeed, practitioners require clear tools and strategies to advocate for public interests and influence policies. This manual, "Advocacy Skills," serves as a practical resource informed by local and international expertise.
