After the Pandemic: Reimagining the Role of State and Non-State Actors in (Re)building National Health Systems in the Arab World
Summary
This piece argues that while the pandemic will have grave health and economic consequences for years to come,it brings a valuable opportunity to re-envision the role of state and non-state actors in strengthening health systems. It addresses the need for increased collaboration between state and non-state actors and urges governments in Arab countries to assume leadership in coordinating roles and responsibilities in healthcare services providers to provide quality healthcare services for all.
