Towards a better future for women and work: Voices of women and men
This ILO Gallup report is the first of its kind in its efforts to employ a poll method to capture attitudes regarding gender and the workforce on a global scale (over 14 countries and territories surveyed). A key finding deduced from this report is that while their tend to be large gaps an inequities around the world when it comes to work accessibility, attitudes toward women's employment are overwhelmingly similar and positive across the board. This gap was also found to be particularly small depending on education levels. This hopeful pioneering report is scheduled to be followed by an additional one in the coming year that will focus on more variables as well as more suggestions for the future.
