The report reviewed all the national pieces of legislation,policies,practices and procedures with a view to show the extent to which they are in harmony with Jordan’s CEDAW commitments. Additionally,this report summarizes the women’s-rights-related achievements and challenges in the areas of equality and non-discrimination,as detailed in this report in terms of women’s participation in public life,as well as the legislation,human security and social protection,economic empowerment and media communication domains.
